Welcome to Squirrel Lodge, a Scandinavian A frame timber lodge nestled in the peaceful pine woodland at Weybourne Forest Lodges. Situated on the North Norfolk coast near Holt/Sheringham this 3 bedroom self-catering lodge sleeps 6 (+1 travel cot). Squirrel Lodge is an ideal base for a family holiday or short break with friends, with nearby steam railway, plenty of local walks or more importantly pubs, it has been described a much needed contrast to busy town life.

The peace and silence of the setting is amazing. We loved waking up in the morning and having a coffee on the veranda with simply just the birds and noises of the woodland with the blue sky and sub peeking through the pine trees. The only challenge of the day was where to have lunch and where to have dinner! We will be back!

I live and work in New York, United States and was my first trip to the UK. Incredibly comfortable, just remote and quiet enough but within easy access of a coastal town and all the history and sightseeing you can cram in.
