To Pinewood Park via the Public Footpath – From our entrance gate by the road, turn left through the kissing gate and follow the public footpath along the edge of the forest (do not go down the hill but keep straight on where the track curves to the left). This path can get very muddy in wet weather as it is used by farm machinery. As you come out of the trees the path forks left and becomes grassy. Keep on and you will come to the caravan park on the right. Walk straight through it until you reach the other end and the Leisure Centre is on the right. This walk is about 1.5 miles.
